Haiku: Distance

Join the fun!
I love poetry. I just found this meme, "Sensational Haiku Wednesday" and am excited to participate :).
The basics: Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively.

This week's theme is Distance.

                  East met West. Me...You
                  Distance made no difference
                  God's love conquered all

    My mom is Japanese, My father was American - I am the result of God bridging the distance.
