- Genuine living, active faith produces fruit. Belief alone is not enough.

James is saying that he can prove his faith by his deeds. Good deeds
(the way you live your life according to God's Word) are the evidence of
genuine saving faith.

You believe in the one true God? So what? Even the demons believe
(intellectual belief) and they even fear God (shudder--emotional
belief). Look at what they do; they're not saved!

Knowing the Truth (Jesus) is important, but more importantly, how do we
respond to the Truth? Does our life (our words, attitude, and actions)
show that Christ is in us and we're in Christ?
