What's On Your Mind?

- Facebook asks in the status box, "What's on your mind?" Great question, isn't it? Do our minds usually focus on earthly things or Heavenly things/things of God/things that are Christ-centered?
- Our citizenship is in Heaven above and this reality should direct our hearts and minds to our true home. We're just passing through this earth.
- Setting our minds on things above means focusing on the eternal rather than the temporal, looking at life from God's perspective, and seeking/desiring what God desires.
- This verse is the antidote to materialism. We must not become too attached to what is only temporary and/or too preoccupied with earthly things/concerns.
