- Jesus's death (in our place) was the one and only sacrifice required for removing all our sins (past, present, and future). It does not need to be repeated ever. Our redemption and justification were completely accomplished in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. "God will credit righteousness--for us who believe in Him Who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification." (Romans 4:24b-25) His job that satisfied God's judgment is finished.
- Jesus sat down at the right hand of Jehovah. It indicates the place of authority and of priestly service. Jesus both rules and intercedes for us. My heart jumps for joy just from thinking about how much Jesus loves me and wants me to spend eternity with Him in Heaven.
I am learning a lot about cristianity from your posts.
