You Are Invited!

- God sent Jesus to invite people on earth to eternal life. Those who accept His invitation are blessed/happy and are waiting for the day Jesus returns and calls them to a Heavenly banquet ("the Wedding Supper of the Lamb")!
- "As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you." (Isaiah 62:5b) Jesus is the Bridegroom. The Church (made up of those who put their faith in Jesus as their Lord and Savior) is the Bride. We've been invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb. In Heaven, we get to celebrate the greatest party of all time! O the joy of having fellowship/perfect union with our Lord throughout eternity! It's the marriage made in Heaven; the Church is united in glory to Jesus Christ. This is the culmination of our salvation. A beautiful picture of marriage and wedding supper is used to describe the intimate relationship God wants to have with us. Let us be ready and prepared as a pure & radiant bride waiting eagerly for our Bridegroom! "I promised you to one Husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to Him." (2 Corinthians 11:2b) May Christ find us faithful and wholeheartedly devoted to Him alone!
- Isn't it interesting that the ministry of Jesus began with His first miracle at a wedding in Cana of Galilee when He turned water into wine? Jesus will return to receive His beloved bride and enjoy the marriage supper and live together happily ever after for eternity. I love weddings :)!
