Reading Plan--May2011

The books I've recently finished reading included True Courage by Steve Farrar, The Fitting Room by Kelly Minter, Love & War Devotional for Couples by John & Stasi Eldredge.

Here is the list of books I am reading or plan to read in the near future:-
  • Lead Serve Love by Gregory E. Lang
  • The Defender's Guide for Life's Toughest Questions by Ray Comfort
  • We Shall See God (Charles Spurgeon's Classic Devotional Thoughts on Heaven) by Randy Alcorn
  • Pressing into Thin Places (Encouraging the Heart toward God) by Margaret Harrell Wills
*I'd like to ask you all for a favor. Would you please click here to go rate my book review of Primal by Mark Batterson (a great book about the Greatest Commandment)? You'll need to verify your email address once for the vote to count. That means you have to click the link they email you after you rank my review. The top ranked review for this month will win a netbook. Thanks so much ♥!

  1. I didn't know John and Stasi Eldredge had a devotional out. I've enjoyed Wild at Heart and Captivating. I'll have to check this one out.

  4. I thought about reading The Fitting Room along with the book group, but decided not to add another reading group (I already am in two right now). I’ll look forward to see what you think about it though. I read the sample and it looked good.

  5. We Shall See God sounds good. I enjoy reading things by believers from other ages--but I enjoy them best when they're well edited by someone to give them a bit of structure for my (modern) mind. That sounds like it might fit the bill.

  6. Great list! I have "We Shall See God" sitting in my stack too, but forgot to add it to my list! I'm looking forward to it...I love Spurgeon, and Randy Alcorn is one of my favorite modern authors.

  7. Those are all new to me. I've read many of Spurgeon's but hadn't heard of that one.
