REVIEW:
Nancy Rue’s writing is delightful and she tells an interesting story! This book is a story about Jessie, a 15 year old girl with ADHD. Her mom has bi-polar disorder and her dad, whom she thought was dead, calls her up out of nowhere. All in the first chapter. Pretty exciting, huh?:) It was neat to be able to, at least partially, have a chance to get inside a teenage girl’s head who has ADHD and see that she’s not unlike everyone else. Everyone has his or her own problems and struggles to deal with. She’s not “crazy” or “dumb”...she’s unique and special. Through the “strange” book she finds, Jessie learns that God loves her just the way she is and that ADHD doesn’t have to control or define her life. It was a fun book to read. It is the first book in the series of four.
