Book Review: You Are Forgiven

I'm thankful for the opportunity to review this wonderful book as a part of the Love God Greatly  (LGG)'s You Are Forgiven launch team. God's forgiveness is an awesome gift for Christ's followers. We all need it whether we realize or not. Five women of God joined together to write this must read. It's filled with relevant Bible verses about forgiveness, valuable insights, inspiring real-life testimonies, refreshing transparency, hope and encouragement. You Are Forgiven is a Bible study book and journal in one.

The book is designed for an 8-week study. You will learn about the need for forgiveness, the way of forgiveness, the depth of our forgiveness, the result of forgiveness, the call of forgiveness, the fruit of our forgiveness (gratitude, love, & joy), and the message of forgiveness. Each chapter includes Challenge and Prayer, Memory Verse, Scripture, the main message, Testimony, Daily SOAP (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer), Reflection Questions, and My Response.

Do you struggle with shame and guilt? Do you still let your past define you? Do you have trouble forgiving someone or even yourselves? Are you shackled by the chains of bitterness/resentment? This book will help you reflect deeply upon the beauty & transforming power of forgiveness and thus able to enjoy living forgiven and free. The authors invite readers to ponder and appreciate what Christ did on the cross for us, to live out that truth and freedom in everyday life, and to spread the Good News in the lost & hopeless world. When we take time to marvel at how we have been so graciously forgiven by God through Christ, we are more ready and willing to forgive anybody anything. I highly recommend You Are Forgiven and I believe it will bless many people. I'd like to invite you to check out this impactful resource and join the upcoming LGG Bible study starting on August 29th. LGG provides the study guide free for download.

Note: When you purchase a copy of 'You Are Forgiven,' you support an amazing ministry! All funds are reinvested in the ministry to train translators from around the world so they can reach out to women with the gospel.
