Persist in Prayer

"Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up...And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off?" (Luke 18:1, 7)

The reason for this parable is to show us that we should always pray and not give up. God will honor patient, persistent, persevering prayer. God wants us to present our requests to Him without becoming discouraged if there's delay in the answers. Delay does not imply a lack of concern. His delays always have good purposes. God will surely respond to injustice done to His children.

Keep praying, surrendering all to God, and trusting Him that He will answer according to His will and His timing. Faith is the key! "Everything is possible for one who believes." (Mark 9:23) "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God." (Mark 10:27) If an unconcerned judge responds to the continual requests from the persistent widow, how much more will a just, loving, caring God respond to the continual prayers of His beloved children! Unlike this judge, God does not mind answering prayer/giving us help. He loves it when we come to Him pouring our hearts to Him. This is the heart of Abba Father. Jesus tells this parable because He wants us to not lose heart but to stay prayerful always.
