Review: Dei Fratelli Pasta Sauces

The day before yesterday, I was excited to receive five jars of Dei Fratelli pasta sauces for review.  I only have had a chance to try two out of five so far. I used a combination of Tomato & Basil and Traditional. First, I was going to use only Tomato & Basil but after I added mushrooms, onions, and chicken, I realize I needed another jar of sauce because I had put in too much stuff :). The result was fantastic. Very delicious. We really enjoyed our spaghetti dinner for two days in a row. My family gave thumbs up!

Dei Fratelli means "of the brothers" and is a fourth generation, family-owned company. They are proud of their family recipes and their secret: all sauces use the highest quality tomatoes harvested from local, family farms since 1923. I love their natural ingredients and the fact that they don't use any artificial additives or preservatives. All their great flavors start with freshly crushed vine-ripened tomatoes. They also use sea salt and extra virgin olive oil in their pasta sauces. In addition, their sauces (except Three Cheese) contain no saturated fat, no trans fat, and no cholesterol. I highly recommend these healthy and yummy sauces!

Other products made and sold by Dei Fratelli include salsas, canned tomatoes, tomato juices, tomato soup, pizza sauce, low-sodium diced tomatoes, sauerkraut, and more.

I had never heard of these sauces before. I will have to keep my eyes open for them next time I go grocery shopping and see if I can find some.

Thanks for sharing.
