I am familiar with NIV Bibles (I own a few); however, I had never read any of Brennan Manning's writings before. I'm glad for the opportunity to review the NIV Ragamuffin Bible. It's filled with insightful reflections, devotions, and quotes from Brennan Manning. He highlights God's extravagant & unrestricted love and grace! I enjoyed and appreciated his Christ-centered, grace-filled, humble and honest writings. Do you feel like a ragamuffin... ragged, wretched, unworthy, and unlovable? Brennan wants you to know beyond a doubt that God loves you, treasures you, and delights in you. If you feel broken, disheartened, and exhausted, check out this Bible and prepare to be refreshed, encouraged, and inspired. This Bible would make a great gift for new believers and those who struggle with embracing God's unconditional love and grace.
